Actor Kim Min-seok is reaffirming his presence as a leading man through the film Noise.
Noise, which premiered on June 25, has surpassed 300,000 admissions in just eight days and has maintained the No.1 spot at the Korean box office for nine consecutive days. Following his successful lead role in the TVING original series Shark: The Storm, Kim continues to prove his drawing power in both film and streaming.

The thriller Noise tells the chilling story of Ju-young (played by Lee Sun-bin), who searches for her missing sister amidst mysterious incidents in a noisy apartment complex. Kim Min-seok plays Gi-hoon, the boyfriend of the missing sister Ju-hee (played by Han Soo-ah), and a key character who teams up with Ju-young in the search.
As the only outsider in the eerie apartment setting, Kim Min-seok’s portrayal of Gi-hoon adds depth to the mystery. His nuanced performance gradually reveals layers of suspicion and tension, transitioning from a supportive role to a complex and emotionally charged presence, solidifying his stature as a compelling lead actor.

Earlier this year, Kim Min-seok led the TVING series Shark: The Storm as Cha Woo-sol, showcasing his range through intense action scenes and emotionally resonant acting. The series topped TVING’s real-time drama rankings and led the platform’s drama category in new subscriptions during its premiere week.
With Noise maintaining its top box office position, Kim Min-seok is being praised for his genre-crossing performances, from action to psychological thrillers. His ongoing transformation as an actor continues to garner attention.
Looking ahead, Kim Min-seok will appear in the upcoming film Tropical Night and the tvN series Typhoon Company, signaling a packed schedule and continued engagement with fans.
